"ashes of love and struggle" - A Queer Prisoner's Poetry Anthology Vol. 2
Our second annual poetry anthology features contributions from fifteen queer and trans writers who are currently incarcerated.
This collection of poems explores themes of Black resistance to the PIC, reckoning with rock bottom, and resilience that can be found through committing to love.
Profits from this anthology will go directly to the poets’ commissary accounts to help offset costs for food, clothing, art supplies, gender-affirming items, legal fees, medical copays, and more while they are imprisoned.
If purchasing a copy for a friend or loved one in prison:
Please enter the address and prisoner number upon checkout in the "Note to Seller" field (under the "Review & Submit Order" section) or this purchase will be considered a donation to a person on our waiting list.
